Washing Cups & Towels

Washing Cups & Towels

These are an essential addition to a Jewish home.  Here  you will find a selection of washing cups made from different materials, shapes and designs and a selection of hand towels to dry the hands afterwards.

What is a washing cup?

A washing cup, also known as a "natla" is used in the pre-meal ritual of hand washing. Jews are commanded to wash their hands and say a blessing before a meal. The blessing is called 'Netilat Yadiim.'

When performing a commandment it is necessary to do it in the nicest way possible "hidur mitzvah", so you should chose an attractive washing cup since it is often on display in the kitchen near the sink.
